Christmas Intercultural Café

On December 13, 2023, the International Cooperation Department organized a special Christmas edition of the Intercultural Café. The event was honored with the presence of prof. Teofil Jesionowski - Rector of PUT, prof. Paweł Śniatała - Vice-Rector for International Relations and Magdalena Zawirska-Wolniewicz - Head of the International Relations Office, who addressed special occasional wishes to the students.

The unique setting for the Christmas event was provided by a music band led by Natalia Wiensierska. Great sound and wonderful arrangements made all participants feel the magic of the upcoming Christmas. Singing together well-known and popular hits, such as Feliz Navidad, Merry Christmas or the Silent Night carols in many languages, caused the "smell" of Christmas to fill the air.

During the meeting, participants also had the opportunity to listen to Christmas melodies performed by the amazing Poznan University of Technology Choir "Volantes Soni", learn about Polish Christmas traditions thanks to the presentation of students from the Erasmus Student Network, and feel a dose of positive energy thanks to the performance of Brain Tomaszewski, known from previous editions of the café.

The program was full of attractions: recording short films in a 360 photo booth, painting baubles, expressing international wishes, decorating a Christmas tree together and tasting Christmas dishes. It was an unforgettable evening among an international group, and the smiles and joy of the students were priceless.
