On May 10-12, the Poznan University of Technology organised the 9th edition of the Polish Volleyball Championships for Higher Education Employees.
The tournament, initiated in 2014 by the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, aims at promoting physical activity, volleyball, active leisure and a healthy lifestyle among the entire academic community: students, employees and doctoral students. The undoubted advantage of the tournament is the integration of university employees and the final selection of the Polish Champion among universities.
During 3 days of competition, almost 40 matches were played in the Sports Hall. Wojciech Weiss, and 12 universities from all over Poland participated in the competition, including nearly 160 participants!
Six universities competed in two categories - OPEN and +50.
12 teams participated in the open category, and 6 in the +50 category.
Final classification: Open 1st place Poznan University of Technology, 2nd place University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, 3rd place University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn.
