On 15 November 2025, Poznan University of Technology hosted a delegation of entrepreneurs and representatives of research institutes from Taiwan, as well as representatives of the Taiwan–Poland Chamber of Commerce, including its President, Ms Agnieszka Sygitowicz, and representatives of the CLIP Group, including its President, Ms Agnieszka Hipś, and Director Mr Marcin Fabianowicz. The special guest was the Deputy Mayor of the City of Poznan, Mr Mariusz Wiśniewski.
The delegation was welcomed and hosted by the Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with Industry, Prof. Arkadiusz Ptak (PUT), who presented the university’s overall potential, particularly in the area of cooperation with industry. The university’s research potential was presented by the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Wojciech Sumelka. In addition, Director Ms Julia Gościańska-Łowińska presented the training and research infrastructure of the Kąkolewo Campus, as well as projects carried out under initiatives of the European Space Agency.
In the second part of the meeting, the guests had the opportunity to tour selected university laboratories, including those of the Institute of Drives and Aviation (a flight simulator, a hydrogen production installation, and a demonstration of a jet engine in operation) as well as the UVH SPM laboratory at the Institute of Physics, which showcased the possibilities for the development of nanoelectronics, molecular electronics, and spintronics.
