National Cheng Kung University is one of the best and most famous Taiwanese university. It is located in the oldest city in the country, Tainan, which is famous for the most delicious food in Taiwan as well as great, hot weather. It is in the city center, just next to the train station. The University has a lot of international relations, cooperation with Taiwanese science parks and well equipped laboratories, especially for engineering subjects. Campus is magnificent, full of old beautiful gardens. One can find there anything students may need. An activity center is full of different clubs on every topic, starting with dances and musical instruments and ending with board games and martial arts. Atmosphere there is amazing. During my one-year stay I met a lot of great people from all around the world. If you are looking for a place to pursue your science career on a high level, place full of immensely friendly people, delicious food and hot weather, NCKU is just for you!
