Meeting for new international students - workshop "First steps in a new country - how to survive the culture shock!" (12.05.2019)

The workshop was dedicated to new international students who started studies at the PUT and concerning issues of cultural shock. The aim of the workshop was to familiarise students with the knowledge which will help them better integrate into the PUT community and adapt to a new culture. The workshop consisted of a mini-lecture and group work. Students analyzed concepts such as culture, culture shock, values, and norms typical of different cultures, barriers that may hinder contact at the crossroads of cultures.

Spotkanie dla nowych studentów zagranicznych – warsztat “First steps in a new country - how to survive the culture shock!” (5.12.2019)

Warsztat dedykowany był nowym studentom zagranicznym, którzy podęli studia na PP i dotyczył zagadnień szoku kulturowego. Celem warsztatu było wyposażenie studentów w wiedzę, aby pomóc im w lepszej integracji w społeczności PP oraz adaptacji do nowej kultury. Warsztat składał się z mini wykładu i pracy w grupie. Studenci analizowali pojęcia takie jak kultura, szok kulturowy, wartości i normy typowe dla różnych kultur, bariery, które mogą utrudniać kontakt na skrzyżowaniu kultur.
