The photograph must comply with the requirements for issuing new ID cards, which are published on the Gov.pl portal.

Key requirements:

• the photo must be up to date (no older than 6 months),
• you must not be wearing a hat, sunglasses or any other items that could make identification difficult,
• the photo must show the whole head (including the top of the head) and the upper part of the shoulders,
• the face should take up 70-80% of the photo,
• the face must be looking straight at the camera lens,
• the background should be white, evenly lit, free of shadows and decorative elements,
• the photo must be in focus, with natural contrast.

Minimum photo resolution: 500 x 625 pixels
Supported photo formats: JPG / PNG / TIFF / BMP
