Electrical Engineering

Electrical engineering is an important field of science and technology for the economy dealing with the generation, distribution, storage and use of electricity. During your studies in the field of ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, you will learn the most important issues related to electrical machines and automation actuating systems, power electronics, microprocessor and measurement technology, smart buildings, electromobility and vehicle electronic systems, power engineering, RES and lighting technology.

Budownictwo/Civil Engineering

If you have the passion and desire for creating practical applications of modern engineering solutions, then CIVIL ENGINEERING is for you! During the second-cycle studies, you will learn the theoretical basis of designing concrete, steel and wooden structures. You will extend your knowledge and improve your qualifications in the field of advanced techniques of the analysis of cubature structures and their design. Classes include BIM and universal design. You will learn about modern technologies and methods of organization and management in civil engineering.

Automatic Control and Robotics

The Smart Aerospace and Autonomous Systems (SAAS) specialization offers you an interdisciplinary Master of Science diploma programme that will provide you with a strong foundation in intelligent and autonomous aerospace systems and terrestrial robotics, and will let you gain practical experience during the implementation of projects. The SAAS programme focuses on modelling, simulating and conducting experimental research in the field of control, navigation, surveillance and decision-making systems for autonomous unmanned systems, ground vehicles and systems operating in aerospace.

Architecture

During the second-cycle studies, future ARCHITECTS explore advanced issues in architecture and urban planning, which are useful for solving complex design problems and designing within social, cultural, natural, historical, economic, legal, and other non-technical contexts related to engineering practice.

Quantum Technologies

Quantum Technologies is an interdisciplinary field combining quantum physics with classical and quantum computing, AI, photonics, electronics and materials engineering. The curriculum of studies prepares students for the design, manufacture, characterization and implementation of quantum technology components and systems.

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is a new field of study taught in English at Poznan University of Technology. It meets the needs of the modern job market and international industry.

By following this degree programme, you will gain comprehensive technical expertise that will prepare you for working in modern industrial sectors – from machine design and manufacturing techniques to advanced technologies related to automation, robotics and digital engineering support.

While studying this field, you will learn, among others:

Engineering Management

The curriculum of studies in ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT includes the necessary theoretical foundations in the field of management sciences, economics and complementary disciplines, as well as thorough engineering expertise and managerial skills. The acquired technical and commercial competences enable to conduct professional operation at the customer-enterprise interface, especially at the customer-manufacturing enterprise interface.

Chemical Technology

Would you like to implement new technologies and advanced materials? Are you interested in working in the chemical, food or cosmetic industry? Then, CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY is just for you!

This field of study was created for people who want to be a bridge between chemists and engineers from other fields, combining their skills and an interdisciplinary view of industrial processes. In addition to the theoretical grounding in chemistry, students of this field of study will acquire technological and practical knowledge related to manufacturing chemical products on an industrial scale.
