The aviation certificate was issued by the Civil Aviation Authority. After previous confirmations related directly to aviation training, the time has come for a no less important certificate covering aviation technology. This document allows the aviation technical staff employed at our university to service and maintain the continuous airworthiness of airplanes and gliders owned by the Poznan University of Technology.
After a long and arduous process of preparing infrastructure, equipment, and, above all, numerous volumes of documentation, on the 22nd of April 2022, a certification audit of inspectors from the Civil Aviation Authority took place. The audit without any reservations confirmed the excellent preparation of the Aviation Technology Division of the Poznan University of Technology to carry out work on airplanes with a maximum take-off mass (MTOM) up to 2730 kg.
As a result of the recommendations of the CAA auditors, on the 12th of May 2022, the CAA issued the Poznan University of Technology with the Comprehensive Airworthiness Organization Certificate No. PL.CAO.0081.
