The Simulator Research Laboratory at the Institute of Combustion Engines and Powertrains of the Poznań University of Technology was established to conduct research work to improve safety in air transport.

Currently, the scope of the laboratory's activities includes three basic tasks:

1. Investigation of the influence of the pilot's psychophysical state on flight safety

2. Analysis of the correct operation of the pilot support systems.

3. Study of a human predisposition to perform air operations.
