In the latest edition of The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR 2025), Poznan University of Technology was ranked among the top 6.9% of the best universities and research institutions worldwide. Compared to the previous edition, the university advanced to 1,473rd place globally and 25th place nationally.

The CWUR 2025 ranking evaluated over 21,000 institutions worldwide, listing the top 2,000, including 40 from Poland.

The ranking methodology takes into account four key indicators: quality of education, alumni employment, academic staff, and research performance.
