Contribution to the travel costs of participants was introduced in project KA131 2024

Travel funding for all types of mobility is not available for exchanges funded by previous projects.
The grant amount is calculated as a lump sum based on the travel distance. To calculate travel distance*, please use the distance calculator available at http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm. 

Below 500 KM, participants will, as a general rule, travel with low-emissions means of transport.

  • October 1, 2024 (Tuesday) - Organizational meetings with first-year full-time students

  • December 23, 2024 (Monday) - January 6, 2025 (Monday) - Winter break

 

Student housing complex

Poznań University of Technology has six student dormitories with over 2,000 places for students and doctoral students in single, double and triple rooms. In addition, almost 90 places are offered in guest rooms and apartments.

The Student Housing Administration is responsible for allocating places in Student Dormitories.

A place in the Student Dormitory is granted on the basis of an application submitted via the eAkademik. system.

Shinkansen – an overview of the system and elements of Japanese culture

Shinkansen is arguably the most visible sign of Japan’s technological advancement and, together with electronic goods, Mt. Fuji and sushi, the most recognizable symbol of Japan. The presentation will draw upon the origins of the famous Japanese high-speed rail system and its development over the period of close to 60 years. Challenges faced by engineers in the operation of Shinkansen trains will be briefly addressed, and information attesting to their incredible efficiency will be provided.
