“EU4Belarus: Solidarity with the people of Belarus”
The European Union under the “EU4Belarus: Solidarity with the people of Belarus” programme is launching a call for proposals for EU4Belarus – SALT (Support for Advanced Learning and Training) scholarships for Belarusian students who are already studying at universities in Lithuania, Latvia,Czechia, and Poland, as well as for those who will start their studies in the academic years 2021/22 and 2022/23.
The 14th Festival of Traditional Art in Wielkopolska region
The Festival of Traditional Art is the key project of The Folk Association „Poligrodzianie”. It is the world-wide unique affair which connects tradition with modern approach to understanding the art and presents not only regional products but also inspired by traditional folklore, f.e. fashion show.
Today folk groups from Latvia, Serbia, Czech Republik and Burundi had an appointment with rector of Poznan University of Technology prof. Teofil Jesionowski.

The industry event after several months is approaching. Companies are going to reveal new products and innovation solutions. One of the participants is PUT. Poznan University of Technology is one of the leaders in cooperation with business.
The Ministry of Education and Science will co-finance Applied Doctorate Program at PUT
26 applications of PUT Doctoral School were qualified to be co-financed within the Applied Doctorate Program.
The main goal of this project is to create special relations in cooperation between universities and business. PhD students, employed in companies, will receive the scholarship for four years. That is a very good information - admitted prof. Teofil Jesionowski, rector of PUT. In his opinion, the most important is that the subjects of doctorates have been chosen in cooperation with industry and will be implemented as solutions in their daily activity.
PUT – we solve problems "on the spot"!
Professor Filip Górski team from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and their AutoMedPrint project. Project objective: construction of a protorype of a system enbling the automatic design of an individualized product (prosthesis or limb orthosis) basef on a non-contact SD scan of the patient and production of the product using 3D printing technology. Last days they've helped nine year old Jan.

Female students of Poznan University of Technology awarded in an international architecture competition
The "Best Student Design Entry" special award in the international competition "The Brewed Bar - An Urban Coffeehouse Design Challenge" (Archmello_competition) was awarded to Wiktoria Ciszak, Karolina Kozłowska, and Michalina Linkowska - second-cycle students of architecture at the Faculty of Architecture.The project is carried out as part of the Workplace Architecture 2 course under the supervision of Paweł Kobryński, MSc. Eng. of Architecture.
Scientists from Poznan University of Technology awarded by the Polish Academy of Sciences
Dr. Agata Zdarta, PhD from the Faculty of Chemical Technology, was awarded by Poznan Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the best original creative work of a doctoral student for 2020 in the field of exact sciences and earth sciences. In turn, Dr. Michał Tomczyk, PhD from the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications received an award in the field of technical sciences.
