Summer School in Santander

We invite you to participate in the recruitment for two summer schools organised by the University of Cantabria (Santander, Spain): "Introduction to Global Studies" and "Integrated Energy Systems". The courses will be organised as a Blended Intensive Programme and 3 ECTS credits will be awarded for each course.

BIP Introduction to Global Studies:
This course prepares students to understand how globalisation has affected a whole cross-section of disciplines, such as business, migration, the arts, health or environmental issues.

Cooperation agreement between the Poznan County and the Poznan University of Technology

On 26th February 2024, the rector of the Poznan University of Technology - Prof. Teofil Jesionowski, and the Starosta of Poznan - Jan Grabkowski, signed an agreement concerning broadly defined cooperation.

The common goal is to develop principles for strengthening the capacity to ensure the safety of residents and to establish cooperation between public institutions and citizens, as well as to support the activities of the local community.

Poznan University of Technology joins Hydrogen Europe Research

On February 21, 2024, Poznan University of Technology officially joined Hydrogen Europe Research.

Hydrogen Europe Research is an international non-profit association of over 150 universities and research and technological organizations from 29 countries across Europe and beyond. Among the Polish members are the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Warsaw University of Technology, and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.

Success in the MAESTRO NCN program

The National Science Center has announced the results of the 15th edition of the MAESTRO competition, the most prestigious in its offerings. The program supports the implementation of pioneering scientific research, including interdisciplinary ones, important for the development of science, extending beyond the current state of knowledge and potentially leading to scientific discoveries.

Golden Hipolit Trophy for prof. Tomasz Łodygowski

We are very pleased to announce that prof Tomasz Łodygowski, rector of the Poznan University of Technology in the years 2012-2020, currently head of the Aviation Department at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transport, was honoured with the Golden Hipolit Trophy.

Golden Hipolit Trophy along with the title of "Organic Work Leader” is awarded to representatives of science, church, culture, politics and economy who have permanently entered the public consciousness through their activities and achievements.

Poznan University of Technology among the top Polish technical universities in the Webometrics ranking

In the latest edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, the Poznan University of Technology takes 7th place among Polish universities and 3rd place among Polish technical universities. In the global ranking, the Poznan University of Technology was classified in 810th place.

The Webometrics ranking is published by Cybermetrics Lab, a public research group belonging to the Spanish Supreme Council for Scientific Research - Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas (CSIC).

Observation, supervision and tracking of satellite objects of the Poznań University of Technology (SONSOS)

As part of the Poznan University of Technology Observation, Supervision and Tracking of Satellite Objects (SONSOS) project, a stationary, field observation station for satellite objects was built, consisting of two astronomical domes to conduct research and development activities in the field of development, production, testing and validation of positioning robots.

Researchers from the Poznan University of Technology receive awards from the Minister of Science and Higher Education!

On February 18, on the occasion of Science Day, during a gala in the auditorium of the Warsaw University of Technology, Minister Dariusz Wieczorek presented awards to the most outstanding representatives of the scientific community.

In the "significant achievements in the field of implementation activities" category, the award went to prof. Agata Gawlak, – vice-dean of the Faculty of Architecture.
