The 3W idea launched by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego is a response to the most significant contemporary challenges faced by the world: climate change, energy transformation, and availability of drinking water.

Through its activities, it builds bridges that connect various environments - science, business, and administration - to strengthen the competitiveness of Polish enterprises and support more effective use of strategic resources of the future: water, hydrogen and coal.

The exhibition was prepared in 2018 as part of the celebration of the hundredth year of Poland regaining independence and the centenary of Estonia's independence. Two years later, the exhibition was supplemented with two charts dedicated to celebrating the centenary of establishing diplomatic relations between Poland and Estonia.

As its creators wrote: "(...) we believe that reading valuable archival documents and photographs from the interwar period will allow the viewer to see the roots and perspectives of bilateral cooperation between the two countries in full light."

36 researchers of the Poznan University of Technology have made it to the world's most influential scientists list.

Thus, we recorded a 10% increase in the ranking prepared by Stanford University in cooperation with the Elsevier publishing house and SciTech Strategies, which is published in the PLOS Biology magazine. The list includes more than 100 000 scientists, who were evaluated in criteria such as the Hirsch index, number of independent citations, and place and role of the author among co-authors.

Vision and mission of universities of technology in post-pandemic times, challenges of digital transformation, strategy, structures and procedures – these were the topics discussed during the 40th Conference of Rectors and Presidents
of European Universities of Technology.

The grand opening of Kakolewo Campus was accompanied by a presentation of research works that will be carried out there soon. “This is the campus of the future, it is a place where we will research and I hope to implement modern aviation and space technologies, but not only. The scope of projects managed by our employees is extraordinary ”- emphasized prof. Teofil Jesionowski, the rector of the Poznan University of Technology.

The Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Czarnek, confirmed the grant for 6 million PLN during his visit to Poznan. “I confirm and I sincerely congratulate the Rector”.

The establishment of the Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity Centre was the subject of numerous meetings. Rector of the Poznan University of Technology, prof. Teofil Jesionowski has repeatedly argued that the aim of the centre will be to develop the potential of the Polish academic community and other public institutions in the field of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
