The Aero Design Section in Turkey

Prof. Weber, among 6 persons awarded with IFORS Fellows

We are pleased to announce that prof. Gerhard-Wilhelm Weber, the researcher from the Faculty of Engineering Management, received a prestigious award from the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS) in 2021. The award recognizes the contribution of an outstanding individual to international operations research and activities for the OR community.

WE COOPERATE ON ELECTROMOBILITY WITH VOLKSWAGEN GROUP POLAND

The letter of intent, in order to start mutual cooperation, was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Automatic Control, Robotics, and Electrical Engineering prof. Wojciech Szeląg and the President of the Management Board of Volkswagen Group Polska, Pavel Šolec. The signing of the letter is related to the launch of a new field of study Electromobility at the Poznan University of Technology in the new academic year 2021/2022.

Poznan University of Technology ranked seventh in the Ranking Web of Universities

Poznan University of Technology was ranked high, seventh in the Ranking Web of Universities comparing almost 400 Polish universities. Globally, our University was ranked 751 (out of over 31,000).

The ranking is based on webometric and bibliometric indicators (visibility, excellence, openness and presence), and its primary goal is to promote open access to knowledge generated by Open Access universities.

PUT's proposal for the economy at the ITM fair in Poznań

Poznań University of Technology has been exhibiting at the economic fairs for years. After several months of break, the possibility of direct contact with business representatives at the ITM fair appeared again.

The Faculty of Civil and Transport Engineering together with the Faculty of Automatic Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering presented their research and equipment offer.
