The Faculty of Architecture at Poznan University of Technology is dedicated to advancing the study and teaching of Architectural Science, Design Technologies, and Urban Design Planning. The Faculty offers both undergraduate and graduate programs in architecture and the built environment, with a focus on combining practical design skills with theoretical knowledge.
The Master of Science in Architecture is designed for students who want to refine their architectural skills and gain advanced expertise in the field. While the program is open to graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, it is specifically developed to help students learn new techniques, sharpen their design abilities, and stay updated with the latest architectural theory.
The curriculum spans two years and focuses on two main disciplines: architectural design and urban planning. It integrates lectures, fieldwork, and design studios, where students will develop both professional skills and creative problem-solving abilities. A central element of the program is the architectural design studio, which allows students to explore their creative ideas, hone their investigative skills, and enhance their personal approach to design.
During their studies, students can explore various areas such as the history of architecture, drawing, painting, building technology, and structural engineering. The program also offers exposure to contemporary architectural trends through collaboration with renowned critics and theorists from around the world.
