Important Information for Applicants

Applicants to the M.Sc. in Civil Engineering will have the opportunity to select a preferred specialization during the admission test. However, please note that selecting a specialization does not guarantee placement in your preferred choice. The available specializations are:

  • Structural Engineering

  • Construction Technology and Management

M.Sc. in Civil Engineering – Structural Engineering
(Faculty of Civil and Transport Engineering)

  • Duration: 1.5 years (3 semesters)

  • Start Date: February/March 2026

Fees for International Students:

  • First semester: 10,900 PLN

  • Each following semester: 9,600 PLN

Fees FOR POLISH STUDENTS

Graduates of this program receive a Master of Science degree and the title of Engineer. The program equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in civil engineering, particularly in:

  • Strength of materials

  • Structural analysis

  • Geomechanics

  • Building technology

  • Enterprise management

  • Steel, concrete, and timber structures

  • Numerical methods in computational mechanics (statics, stability, dynamics of structures)

Graduates will be able to tackle complex civil engineering problems, including practical application of computer-aided design (CAD) for structural analysis and design.

Fees FOR POLISH STUDENTS

The aim of this program is to prepare graduates to be Masters of Civil Engineering with advanced knowledge and skills for exploring, implementing, and managing innovations in the field of civil engineering. The program is designed around a system approach to:

  • Information systems

  • Energy systems

  • Communication systems

  • Transport systems

The course is structured as follows:

  • First Semester: Identifying innovation areas

  • Second Semester: Generating and evaluating innovation options

  • Third Semester: Executing innovations

This program is developed in cooperation with leading international corporations and SMEs. It includes opportunities for paid summer internships in the field of construction technology. Additionally, students will work in multinational teams (U.S., France, U.K., Switzerland, Germany, Finland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland), gaining experience in real-world challenges.

Graduates of this program will be prepared for:

  1. Employment in partner enterprises (corporations or SMEs)

  2. Pursuing Ph.D. studies

  3. Creating SPIN-OFF or START-UP companies
