The course is designed for transport and logistics engineers who wish to expand their knowledge in the field of sustainable transport. It covers the environmental, social, and economic impacts of transportation, such as reducing pollutants and noise, promoting health protection, and enhancing the efficient use of energy and natural resources. The program ensures that the transportation methods developed meet socio-economic needs in a sustainable manner.
The curriculum, offered in English, provides a competitive educational program catering to both Polish and international students. Students will broaden their knowledge in areas such as:
Modern transport systems and alternative propulsion sources
Environmental impact reduction and sustainability tools
Environmental emission measurement methodology
Safety and environmental hazards in rail transport
The role and importance of public transport
Urban rail transport and transport system organization
Sustainable transport planning and traffic optimization
Decision support systems in transport
Upon completion, graduates will be equipped to solve complex transport-related challenges, employing modern methods and tools to reduce negative environmental and health impacts associated with transportation.
