Documents required

The candidate is obliged to register in the online recruitment system, fill in online application form, pay the admission fee and upload following documents:

  1. Certificate of completion of secondary school or another document obtained abroad, entitling to apply for admission to studies at institutions of all types in the country where the institution issuing the certificate operates, along with:
  • translation into Polish or English prepared or certified by a sworn translator listed on the list of translators maintained by the Minister of Justice or a consul of the Republic of Poland serving in the country where the document was issued; 
  • Apostille (when the country issuing the document is a party to the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents drawn up in The Hague on 5 October 1961 (Journal of Laws of 2005, No. 112, item 938)),
  • or legalized (by a Polish consular office in the country where the certificate was issued).
  1. Supplement or other official document including a list of subjects, if not indicated in the certificate or other document obtained abroad, passed by the candidate in secondary school along with grades obtained, along with translation into Polish prepared or certified by a sworn translator listed on the list of translators maintained by the Minister of Justice or a consul of the Republic of Poland serving in the country where the document was issued; the document should be apostilled or legalized.
  2. Certificate confirming the entitlement to apply for admission to higher education institutions confirmed by the school or educational institution or by the educational authorities of the country where the certificate was issued. (Applies to maturity certificates requiring recognition as documents confirming the entitlement to apply for admission to studies, in accordance with art. 93 § 3 of the Act on Higher Education and Science).

  3. Result of an external/central examination, qualifying for first-cycle studies in the country or education system where the certificate was issued (if available).
  4. Document presenting the applicable grading scale, if not included in the certificate along with translation into Polish or English prepared or certified by a sworn translator listed on the list of translators maintained by the Minister of Justice or a consul of the Republic of Poland serving in the country where the document was issued.
  5. English language certificate options:
  • One of the language certificates listed here
  • Polish Maturity Certificate - a minimum score of 30% in English at the extended or bilingual level, 
  • International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma - a minimum score of 2 in English taken at the higher level (HL), 
  • Document confirming completion of an educational stage abroad or in the Republic of Poland if the language of instruction was exclusively English (does not apply to B.Sc. programme in Engineering Management).

NOTE!
Incomplete applications will not be considered. Upon arrival in Poland, all documents must be submitted in original to the International Cooperation Department office (ul. Piotrowo 5, room 101).

Upon arrival in Poland, it is required to obtain recognition of the Secondary School Certificate from the Education Board in Poznań within the first semester of studies. Obtaining recognition is a condition for continuing studies. More information can be found on the website. 

Note! Not all certificates require recognition by the Education Board! Selected certificates are recognized in Poland by operation of law.
