UNIVERSITY SPACE EXPEDITION

Crowds gathered at the Zamek Culture Centre for the POLItechnical aspects of our space expedition. Bartosz Ziegler discussed how the space vehicle's trajectory is planned to meet the Moon. Representatives of the Faculty of Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering: prof. Dariusz Pazderski and Tomasz Jedwabny presented terrestrial optical data to analyse the Earth's environment and guarantee the success of the mission.

The first Science Day of the Poznan University of Technology is behind us!

Over 30 presentations, 5 hours of content and images about conducted scientific research – the Poznan University of Technology organized a Science Day, during which directors of Institutes from nine faculties presented the scientific achievements of their teams.

Scientists from the Poznan University of Technology are the Ambassadors of the Polish Congresses

The presentation of the Ambassador of Polish Congress statuettes for the years 2020-2021 took place in Gdynia, after a two-year break caused by the pandemic. This honourable title was awarded to two employees from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transport of the Poznan University of Technology: prof. Mieczysław Kuczma (title awarded in 2020) and prof. Agnieszka Merkisz-Guranowska (title awarded in 2021). The event was co-organized by the city of Gdynia, the Polish Tourist Organization and the nongovernmental Polish Conference and Congress Association.

OPENING OF THE CENTRE FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND CYBERSECURITY

The Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity was officially opened in Aula Magna.

After the speech of prof. Teofil Jesionowski, Rector of the Poznan University of Technology, prof. Robert Wrembel, director of the Centre presented the newly established unit.

Inspiring lectures brought us closer to the problems faced by modern society.
