„Science Leaders Board”

The Coalition for Polish Innovation (KPI) has launched the "Science Leaders Board" (SLB) program, aimed at enhancing Poland's visibility worldwide as a source of global innovations. The initiative connects business leaders with scientific leaders, creating a collaborative space that supports the development of Polish science and technology. 

 

The program was created in collaboration with some of Poland's largest technology investors, including Intel, Orange, Google, Dell, Ericsson, and Flex. 

 

6th edition of the Ulam NAWA program has been decided

This year's edition of the Ulam NAWA Program has been decided.

The list of foreign scholarship holders also includes Shuang Shu, PhD (Hohai University, China), who will conduct his postdoctoral internship and research in the field of "Progressive degradation mechanism and analysis method of the interface between marine soft clay and anti-pull-out foundations" at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transport, under the supervision of Prof. Wojciech Sumelka - Vice-Rector for Science.

 

Another success in the NCN competition

The National Science Centre has announced the ranking list of the MINIATURA 8 competition (for applications submitted in July this year).

We are pleased to announce that Krzysztof Dziarski, PhD from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Energy has been included in the list of laureates of the eighth edition of the MINIATURA 8 competition of the National Science Centre. The project entitled Automatic verification of the tightening of a screwed busbar connection based on a thermogram received very high marks from experts.
