Ladies and Gentlemen,

In recent months, numerous unfavourable comments have appeared in the media and public sphere regarding the Poznan University of Technology, implying our involvement in one side of the political conflict in the country.

On April 3, 2024, the 9th edition of the Poznan University of Technology Scientific Clubs Grants Gala 2024 was completed. During the event, 13 Scientific Clubs actively operating at the Poznan University of Technology presented their projects and ideas in 4 categories:

General overview and concept of the project

On April 3, 2024, the Centre for Modern Didactics of the Poznan University of Technology began its operations. It is a place dedicated to the methodological development of academic teachers and improving the quality of teaching.

The Centre aims to create a space where every teacher will find support and inspiration to improve their work with students.

Once again, the Poznan University of Technology welcomed new foreign students who started their master's studies in Poland in the summer semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Our university's offer is extremely popular among foreign candidates. More than 800 foreigners participated in this recruitment process.

According to the provisions of the Higher Education and Science Act, the rector of a university is elected by the Electoral College.

On March 25, 2024, the Electoral College of Poznan University of Technology elected the Rector for the 2024-2028 term.

On February 29 - March 3, representatives of student governments met on the Warta Campus of the Poznan University of Technology during the 1st meeting of the Forum of Technical Universities in the 2024 term. The turnout was exceptionally high! Within the walls of our Alma Mater, we had the opportunity to host about 120 participants, representing over 30 universities associated with FTU.

On March 17-24, 25 Polish universities presented their educational offers at the IEFT ( Education Fairs of Turkey)educational fair - the largest event in Turkey. The Poznan University of Technology also attended the fairs, represented by the International Relations Office.

On March 22, a special event took place at our university related to the second edition of the National Materials Engineering Day.

The Faculty of Materials Engineering and Technical Physics of the Poznan University of Technology, together with 15 other universities and 6 research institutes across the country, carried out the mission of popularizing materials engineering under the motto of this year's edition of materials inspired by nature.
