Session on Peer-IR-view project at the Eracon 2023 Conference

This year's edition of the Eracon 2023 (European Association of Erasmus Coordinators) Conference took place at the Tor Vergata University in Rome from June 26-30. The aim of it is cooperation and exchange of experiences among staff dealing with the Erasmus+ programme. During the event, Magdalena Zawirska-Wolniewicz, Head of the International Relations Office and Marta Malepszak from the European University Office led a session on the Peer-IR-view project (PIRV).

EUNICE on the European Commission's list of winning Alliances

The project of European University for Customised Education (EUNICE) was approved on 3rd July 2023 in the 2023 Erasmus+ call for European Universities. After three years of piloting and with the expansion of the alliance from seven to ten partner universities, the alliance will receive significant funding of €14.4 million to ensure the sustainability of the Consortium's activities until 2027.

Magdalena Zawirska-Wolniewicz - "Erasmus Minister 2023"

On June 27, 2023, during the opening plenary session of the Eracon 2023 conference at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, Magdalena Zawirska-Wolniewicz, Head of the International Relations Office, was honored with the "Erasmus Minister 2023" Award by the European Association of Erasmus Coordinators for many years of work and contributions to the Erasmus+ Programme.

The award was presented by Vito Borelli from the European Commission.

University of Maribor – summer school for EUNICE

PUT students are invited to take part in international summer school Cyber F IT on “Cybersecurity of Learning Environments”

The summer school is organized by Poznan University of Technology, Brandenburg University of Technology, Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France and University of Maribor. It is an interdisciplinary program with group work on challenges which gives a valuable experience.

Students of the PUT at the Forum of Technical Universities

The Forum of Technical Universities was founded in 2006 and is one of the 10 industry committees of the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland (PSRP). It brings together 33 student governments and its mission and activities are focused on joint development, exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices, as well as pro-quality activities for students

This time, representatives of Student Governments (including representatives of our university) were hosted by the Bialystok University of Technology.

Agata Pera, President of the Students’ Union of the Poznan University of Technology

The elections were observed by Prof. Teofil Jesionowski, Rector of the Poznan University of Technology. In his speech, he congratulated the new president and thanked the Students’ Union for their work so far, in particular for activities during the pandemic and those related to the effects of the war in Ukraine.

Doctoral student of PUT with an award from the Polish Academy of Sciences

The award in this year's competition for the best research paper published in 2022, whose leading author is a PhD student in the category of technical sciences, was awarded to MSc Eng. Maria Kuznowicz from the Faculty of Chemical Technology (under the supervision of prof. Teofil Jesionowski). The award was granted for the publication of Glucose determination using an amperometric non-enzymatic sensor based on electroactive poly (caffeic acid) @MWCNT decorated with CuO nanoparticles (Microchimica Acta).

SUCCESS OF PUT SCIENTISTS AT E-NNOVATE 2023

Technologies developed by interdisciplinary teams of prof. Krystyna Prochaska, Bartosz Wieczorek, PhD and Jan Górecki, PhD were appreciated during the fourth edition of the E-NNOVATE International Invention and Innovation Fair, which was held on May 30-31, 2023 at the Bydgoszcz University of Technology. The effects of the scientific activity of PUT teams were submitted in Zero Waste Technologies and Healthcare/Fitness categories, with the support of the Centre for Technology Transfer of PUT.

PUT team third in the International F1THENTH competition

During the International Conference on Robotics and Automation, the largest robotic conference held in London, the 11th edition of the International F1THENTH competition was organized.22 teams from Europe, Asia and North America qualified for the finals. The team from the Poznan University of Technology composed of Grzegorz Czechmanowski, Jan Węgrzynowski, Tomasz Kaproń, and Amadeusz Szymko under the supervision of Krzysztof Walas, PhD took third place.
