The Poznan University of Technology is a signatory of the agreement to support innovations in the Wielkopolska region through the Erasmus+ Programme

The essence of the agreement is, above all, cooperation between the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (acting as the National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme) and universities in the Wielkopolska region.

The PUT is the most-chosen university in the academic year 2022/2023

Once again, the Poznan University of Technology was among the top universities that received the most applications for one place in recruitment for full-time first-cycle studies in the academic year 2022/2023. Almost seven candidates applied for our university per one place. The most popular programmes were Artificial Intelligence, Management Engineering and Logistics.

According to data published by the Ministry of Education and Science, nearly 430,000 people were admitted to the first year of studies at universities supervised by MEiN.

The Poznan University of Technology and PKN Orlen jointly on educating staff for nuclear energy

“Educating staff in this area is important from the point of view of Poland's interest” - said Daniel Obajtek, president of PKN Orlen, who has met with the authorities of the Poznań University of Technology today.

In his opinion, over the next few years, the Polish energy sector will need thousands of engineers who will create and supervise new power plants but also participate in processes related to broadly understood business. "Undoubtedly, we can start this path from the Poznan University of Technology, which is perfectly prepared for this," added the president of PKN Orlen.

Szymon Felinski and Maciej Dworzanski are the winners of the Superstar 4 Science 2022

Szymon and Maciej wrote a thesis entitled “Embedded system for learning smooth and energy-saving tram driving techniques “, at the Faculty of Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering. The jury, composed of representatives of leading universities in Poland, business partners and the IEEE, declared it to be the best in the Most Innovative Thesis category.
