Polish Universities and Santander Universidades

On November 30, the representatives of Polish universities and Santander Universidades met on the premises of the Poznan University of Technology. The seminar concerned joint projects aimed at sustainable development.

The meeting aimed to develop a common diagnosis and a new model for identifying future competencies ensuring a coordinated process of Poland's socio-economic transformation by 2025 in a way based on ecosystems of cooperation with the public-private sector.

Success in LIDER programme

The National Centre for Research and Development has announced the results of the 14th competition under the LIDER programme. We are pleased to announce that the ranking list of projects qualified for financing includes the project of Michał Nowicki, PhD from the Faculty of Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering.

The project titled "HybriSense: Multi-sensory Machine Learning in the Perception of AGV Robots in Indoor and Outdoor Environments" was granted funding for PLN 1,775,000.

Graduates of the Poznan University of Technology - the highest earnings on the Poznan labour market!

In the Poznan labour market, graduates of the Poznan University of Technology achieve the highest earnings according to the report of the ELA System (Polish Graduate Tracking System). In 2021, the average monthly gross salary in Poland was PLN 6,001.02, while the average salary after obtaining a master’s diploma for a graduate of the Poznan University of Technology was PLN 5,908.99.

Hobby Fair – our passion is our strength!

Last weekend, November 18-19, we had the pleasure of participating in the Hobby Fair organized by Poznań International Fair. Impressive attendance—14.5 thousand visitors!

No one can talk about their hobby better than a student of the Poznan University of Technology, which is why they - representatives of the Scientific Clubs - filled the space intended for the Poznan University of Technology - the now recognisable "blue carpet".

PUT at the international educational fair in Azerbaijan

Students from Azerbaijan constitute an increasing group of foreign students in Poland. Over the last 4 years, the number of students from this country has increased threefold, from 761 in 2018 to 2,407 people. - in 2022, and participation in last year's fair in Baku also confirmed the great potential of this market for promoting the educational offer of our university.

BUILDER RANKING EDUCATION FOR THE FUTURE TOP 2023

On October 25, 2023, 4FutureDay - Young Architect and Engineer Day - took place. 4FD is the inaugural event of the next edition of the Builder for the Future program.

During the ceremony, awards were presented to the best Faculties of Construction and Architecture of Polish technical universities, as part of the BUILDER RANKING EDUCATION FOR THE FUTURE TOP 2023. We are delighted to share that the Faculty of Architecture came in third place and the Faculty of Transport and Civil Engineering received a distinction.

3rd 3W Congress - summary

On November 27-28, the major meeting of experts in the field of water, hydrogen and elemental carbon technologies in Poland and this part of Europe took place in Warsaw!

At the 3rd 3W Congress, various topics were discussed such as how to execute the mission of constructing a 3D ecosystem, the progress and challenges of the 3D sector, and the direction of technological advancements pertaining to water, hydrogen, and coal.

Another success in the NCN Miniatura competition

238 scientists joined the group of winners of the MINIATURA 7 competition. They will receive almost PLN 9.4 million for preliminary and pilot research, fellowships and research visits or consultations.

The winner of the competition was Katarzyna Peta, PhD from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Katarzyna Peta, PhD received funds for the implementation of the scientific activity "Multi-scale analysis of wetting of irregular surfaces of construction materials".
