The University of Catania in Italy is set to host the next EUNICE General Assembly as part of Alliance preparations for the project's second phase.
On September 12, 2023 a cooperation agreement was signed between the Poznan University of Technology and the Civil Aviation Authority.
The parties were represented by prof. Teofil Jesionowski – Rector of the Poznan University of Technology and Andrzej Kotwica, acting Vice President for Aviation Standards.
The signatories unanimously emphasized the benefits of the agreement covering cooperation in the field of safety management in civil aviation of the Republic of Poland.
During PCM-CMM-2023 (5th Polish Congress of Mechanics 25th International Conference on Computer Methods in Mechanics) in Gliwice, a competition for the Jan Szmelter Award was held for the best paper presented by a young scientist.

On August 21-25, representatives of Polish technical universities and the Ministry of National Defence visited nuclear facilities in Japan.
The trip was attended by representatives of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, Gdansk University of Technology, Krakow University of Technology, Poznan University of Technology, Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Warsaw University of Technology and Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
The construction of the photovoltaic power plant with accompanying infrastructure, transformer station and MV line at the Kakolewo airport began in mid-July 2023.
Completion of construction is planned for mid-November this year.

On August 18-24, at the sports facilities of the Poznan University of Technology, the world competition in the sport of people with disabilities "Poznan 2023 World Boccia Challenger" was held.
The competition was organized by the Polish Boccia Association and World Boccia, and the partners were the Polish Paralympic Committee and the Poznan University of Technology.
On August 28-31, the 2nd French-Polish Chemistry Congress was held in Montpellier (France), co-organized by the Poznan University of Technology. In addition to representatives of the Poznan University of Technology, scientists from, among others, the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, the Jagiellonian University and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier were involved in the organization of the Congress.

From 18 to 24 August 2023, Poznan city and the Poznan University of Technology will host the world Boccia competition for the second time. In the sports hall Wojciech Weiss, the Sports Center of the Poznan University of Technology, organized by the Polish Boccia Association based in Poznan together with the World Boccia Sports Federation (WorldBoccia - BISFed) - an organization managing this discipline on behalf of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
