Poznan University of Technology in the University Impact Rankings 2024

Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is an international ranking of universities that take action to implement the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This year's edition presents a total classification of 1,963 universities, including 25 universities from Poland.

The aim of the ranking is to indicate the importance of the involvement of universities in activities for sustainable development and to promote those institutions whose activities contribute to their implementation.

Prof. Hanna Bogucka, Vice-President of the Polish Academy of Sciences Branch in Poznan

On June 10, during the Session of the General Assembly of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznan, new authorities were elected.

We are pleased to announce that the Vice-President of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznan is prof. Hanna Bogucka – Director of the Institute of Radiocommunication at the Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications of the Poznan University of Technology.

The term of office of the newly elected authorities will begin on October 1, 2024 and will last until the end of 2026.

QS World University Rankings 2025

The latest edition of QS World University Rankings 2025 assessed 5,663 institutions from around the world based on 9 indicators. The ranking presents a list of 1,503 best universities in the world, including 22 universities from Poland.

The Poznan University of Technology was classified in the range of 1001-1200, obtaining the highest score in the International Research Network category.

Visit of the Rector of Kharkiv Technical University at PUT

On May 29, the Poznan University of Technology hosted the Rector of the Kharkov University of Technology - Mr. Yevhen Sokol. Long-term cooperation between the universities resulted in the extension of the contract.

During the visit, the possibility of conducting joint scientific research, new areas of cooperation and the exchange of students and employees were discussed.
