100th Meeting of the EURO Working Group on MCDA at Poznan University of Technology
From 23–26 September 2025, during the TRAKO International Trade Fair — one of the most important events in Poland’s transport industry — Poznan University of Technology showcased the current outcomes of the Rail4Earth project, implemented in collaboration with PKP, the Łukasiewicz Research Network (IEL and WIT), the Military University of Technology in Warsaw, and the AGH University of Science and Technology.
Poznan University of Technology has once again proven that it is among the most innovative technical universities in the country. According to the latest 2024 report by the Polish Patent Office, the University ranked 4th in Poland in terms of the number of patents granted to higher education institutions, achieving an impressive total of 57 patents.
On September 17–18 of this year, we had the pleasure of co-organising the 19th Poznan High School Graduate Expo together with “Perspektywy.”
As is tradition, over the course of the two-day event held on our university campus, thousands of young people arrived seeking answers to the question: “What comes after the final exams?”
The event was officially opened by the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education, Assoc. prof. Agnieszka Misztal, who addressed a few words of support to the graduates gathered in the auditorium.
On September 24, 2025, the Faculty of Chemical Technology hosted a scientific seminar of the Sustainable Biotechnology Cluster.
The event featured eleven speakers representing various research teams. During the meeting, they presented research methods and tools used in ongoing biotechnology projects.
The past gliding season was hectic and full of emotions. After months of preparation, our representatives faced demanding training sessions to compete with the best pilots in Poland and abroad.

On September 10, 2025, a remarkable event took place in the WAWIZ building. The Student Scientific Association of Public Transport Engineers celebrated the 15th anniversary of its founding. Additionally, PUTrain — one of KNITP’s sections — presented its newest, third locomotive, which has achieved further success at the annual Railway Challenge competitions in England and Germany.

Today, in the Wojciech Weiss Sports Hall on the Warta Campus of Poznan University of Technology, the Sports Centre for Persons with Disabilities was officially opened, and the modernisation of the field hockey pitch was ceremonially inaugurated.
