The signing of an agreement with JAKON sp. z o.o. - construction of a teaching and training centre

On December 18, 2024, the Poznan University of Technology signed an agreement with JAKON sp. z o.o. to implement the task in the "design and build" mode—construction of a teaching and training centre of the Kakolewo Campus of Poznan University of Technology in the design and build formula.

The contractor was selected on the basis of a public procurement conducted in the basic mode with the possibility of negotiations.

Poznan University of Technology in UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2024

Poznan University of Technology has been ranked in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, which evaluates universities' actions related to sustainable development and their commitment to protecting the natural environment. 

The UI GreenMetric ranking methodology is based on indicators covering topics such as infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste, water, and transport, as well as education and research on sustainable development. 

Winter School of Ecology, BUP 2025

The 18th Winter School of Ecology in Jyväskylä will take place from February 13–21, 2025, at the Konnevesi Research Station (University of Jyväskylä), located about 70 km north of the city of Jyväskylä. 

The Winter School of Ecology in Jyväskylä consists of a set of free courses and is organized annually in mid-winter by the Faculty of Mathematics and Science and the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Sciences at the University of Jyväskylä, in cooperation with leading Finnish experts in the field. 

The program consists of two parts:

The international scientific conference "Development Trends in Space Propulsion Systems," organized by the Lukasiewicz Institute of Aviation, the Polish Space Agency, and the Warsaw University of Technology, was held on December 5-6, 2024, in Warsaw. The event gathered leading experts, scientists, and representatives from the space industry. Technical sessions, panel discussions, and lectures conducted by representatives from institutions such as ESA, NASA, ILOT, DLR, and Airbus focused on the latest trends and innovations in space propulsion technology.
