We Invest in the Future of Polish Railways and Young Engineers

TORPOL S.A., one of the leaders in the railway construction market, has signed a cooperation agreement with Poznan University of Technology – one of the country’s leading technical universities.

The aim of this cooperation is to jointly support the development of technical fields, facilitate knowledge transfer, and prepare students and graduates to work on the largest infrastructure projects in Poland.

Orientation Day in a New Format – a Joint Meeting of International Students

On September 29, Poznan University of Technology welcomed its international students. For the first time, the event took a new form – both full-cycle degree students and those arriving for a semester or a year under the Erasmus+ and bilateral exchange programmes participated together. At the same time, the event was streamed online for students who had not yet obtained their visas or arrived in Poznań.

Over One Million PLN in Support for Poznan University of Technology Students Through the FERS Project

The University’s projects were highly rated under the program “Support for Students in Developing Their Competencies and Skills” – Round II, funded by the European Social Development Funds (FERS).

The total recommended funding for projects from Poznań University of Technology exceeds 1.1 million PLN. These funds will enable students to develop their skills through participation in international competitions, conferences, and the implementation of innovative technological projects.

KNITP at the TRAKO 2025 Trade Fair

From 23 to 26 September 2025, Gdansk hosted TRAKO – one of the most important railway industry events in Europe, which every two years brings together experts and transport enthusiasts from around the world. This year, students from the Student Scientific Association of Public Transport Engineers at Poznan University of Technology once again participated, presenting their flagship project – the PUTrain locomotive, built by members of the Association.

Poznan University of Technology Student Named to Forbes’ “30 Under 30”

Olaf Jagiełłowicz, a second-cycle student of Management Engineering and the president of the PUT Rocketlab student research group, has been included in the prestigious Forbes “30 Under 30” list.

The “30 Under 30” list is one of the flagship projects of the Polish edition of Forbes magazine. Every year, the magazine highlights the most talented young leaders in Polish business—startup founders, innovators, managers, and investors.
