Szymon and Maciej wrote a thesis entitled “Embedded system for learning smooth and energy-saving tram driving techniques “, at the Faculty of Control, Robotics and Electrical Engineering. The jury, composed of representatives of leading universities in Poland, business partners and the IEEE, declared it to be the best in the Most Innovative Thesis category.

we invite you to participate in the Polish Culture Week held between 28 November - 02 December, 2022.

Culture Week is a colourful event organized yearly, usually at the beginning of December, by the Centre of Languages and Communication. The week-long event, meant for international students at Poznan University of Technology, is filled with interesting presentations, film shows and workshops. Students learn about Polish history, culture and traditions, prepare posters and have fun singing Polish songs – see the programme on the CLC website.

On November 14, 2022, there was a ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement between the Poznan University of Technology and School Complex No. 1. in Swarzedz. The parties were represented by prof. Teofil Jesionowski – the Rector of the Poznan University of Technology, Przemysław Jankiewicz - Director of the School Complex No. 1 in Swarzedz, and Jan Grabkowski - the Poznan the District Head.

How cities and regions are evolving and how universities of technology can and should respond to these changes. These are the main topics of the CESAER Annual Meeting - the annual meeting of the CESAER organization associating European technical universities. The host of the meeting was the Technical University of Dresden. The Poznan University of Technology was represented by: prof. Paweł Śniatała, Vice-Rector for International Relations, acting as a Delegate, and Joanna Buszkiewicz, PUT Senior Research Projects Specialist, who administers cooperation with CESAER.

On October 28, 2022, the Scholarships of the City of Poznan for the academic year 2022/2023 were awarded to the winners and finalists of the nationwide subject Olympiads.

Among the awarded students were three students who started their education at the Poznan University of Technology:

On 26.10.2022 the Orientation Day took place at our University. The meeting was organized for foreign students by the International Relations Office. The event enjoyed a lot of interest - nearly 70 students who started their studies at PUT in the winter semester 2022/23 took part in it.
