National Materials Engineering Day at PUT

On March 22, a special event took place at our university related to the second edition of the National Materials Engineering Day.

The Faculty of Materials Engineering and Technical Physics of the Poznan University of Technology, together with 15 other universities and 6 research institutes across the country, carried out the mission of popularizing materials engineering under the motto of this year's edition of materials inspired by nature.

The 8th Logistics Day at PUT

On March 15, the 8th Logistics Day was held at the Faculty of Engineering Management of the Poznan University of Technology, organized by the Logistics Scientific Club.

The main goal of the event was to promote the field of study at the faculty, as well as to expand students' knowledge in the field of logistics.

70 students from 4 different secondary schools with a logistics and general education profile participated in the event. Guests had the opportunity to participate in workshops prepared by students from the Logistics Scientific Club.

Success of PhD students of the Faculty of Chemical Technology

We are proud to announce that doctoral students of the Faculty of Chemical Technology achieved exceptional success in the Drive Innovation competition organized by BASF!

Natalia Burlaga and Adam Grzywaczyk took the honourable first place, and their innovative approach and creative solution in the field of science and technology gained the recognition of the jury, which resulted in the highest place on the podium.

25th Job Fair

On March 13th, the 25th anniversary Job Fair was organized by the Careers Service Centre and Politechnika Innowacje Sp. z o.o.

The event was opened by the authorities of the Poznan University of Technology - Rector prof. engineer Teofil Jesionowski, prof. Michał Wieczorowski, prof. Paweł Śniatała, and Chancellor Łukasz Kalupa, PhD.

Almost 90 exhibitors representing several branches of the industry participated in the event so that students and graduates could find something for themselves among the internship and job offers.

PUTrain team in London

The Scientific Club of Public Transport Engineers' PUTrain project delegation had the privilege of attending the Railway Division Annual Luncheon, which brought together 1,200 representatives from Great Britain's railway industry. It was an amazing experience and the opportunity to talk to representatives of many sectors and entities responsible for the railway. The event was organized by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). The Chairman of the Railway Division, Andrew Skinner opened the meeting.
