On July 1, 2025, Poznan University of Technology joined a group of ten universities that signed a cooperation agreement with Energa-Operator S.A.

The aim of the alliance is joint action to educate future professionals and develop the technical competencies necessary for the energy and digital transformation of the Polish power sector.

From June 11–13, 2025, the Poznan University of Technology Choir Volantes Soni took part in the second edition of the International Choral Meetings Stetinum Cantat — a unique artistic project organized by the Opera at the Castle in Szczecin as part of the Interreg VIA Mecklenburg–Western Pomerania / Brandenburg / Poland 2021–2027 Cooperation Program.

On June 24, 2025, Rector Prof. Teofil Jesionowski (Poznan University of Technology), Rector Prof. Zbigniew Krasiński (Karol Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznan), and Mr. Stanisław Szczepaniak, Deputy Director for Economic Affairs (University Clinical Hospital in Poznan), signed a letter of intent regarding collaboration in the field of modern medical technologies, scientific research, and educational initiatives.

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Roman Słowiński has been honoured with the “Best Paper Award” during the 25th International Conference on Group Decision and Negotiation (GDN 2025), held on June 15–18, 2025, in Zaragoza, Spain, at the University of Zaragoza.

The ceremonial opening of the first Artificial Intelligence Factory in Poland – PIAST-AI – took place today at the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Centre (PCSS). The event was attended by representatives from the worlds of science and technology, including delegates from Poznan University of Technology – one of the institutions co-creating this innovative consortium. On the same day, the PIAST-Q quantum computer was also inaugurated, marking another milestone in the development of research infrastructure in Poland.

On May 31st this year, the International Relations Office of Poznan University of Technology organized a special event – Gala Night, marking the official closing of the project “PUT Students on Board”, carried out within the Welcome to Poland program, financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).

On 12–13 June, representatives of Poznan University of Technology took part in the Third Forum of European University Alliances held in Wrocław. The event was organised by the University of Wrocław within the framework of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
