Mural in the Library of Poznan University of Technology!

On March 12, a special event took place in the PUT Library — the unveiling of a mural designed by Prof. Radosław Barka from the Faculty of Architecture. The mural was created by a team of artists from the Green Space Foundation, represented by Dominik Dziedzina.
 

This unique ceremony was attended by many distinguished guests. In addition to the mural’s creators and, of course, library staff, attendees included:

Education Fair 2025

This year's Education Fair is now a memory—but a truly remarkable one.

From March 7–9, as part of the "Academic Poznan" zone during the Education Fair at the Poznan International Fair (MTP), we joined other Poznan universities to present our educational offer to visitors. The combined Education Fair and Poznan Book Fair attracted 72,575 attendees.

Competition: “Revitalization of the Winiary Lake Surroundings in Gniezno”

On March 5, 2025, the results were announced for the student competition titled “Functional and Spatial Development Study of the Green Areas Surrounding Winiary Lake in Gniezno.” The competition was organized by the City of Gniezno in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture at Poznan University of Technology. Its objective was to develop a comprehensive vision for the revitalization of the lake's surroundings, aimed at improving the quality of public space and unlocking the recreational and sports potential of the area.

Poznan University of Technology at Workshops under the “Study in Poznan” Initiative

On March 4, the Department of City Development and International Cooperation of the Poznan City Hall organized a workshop as part of the “Study in Poznan” initiative.

The aim of the meeting was to develop a joint strategy for promoting universities in Poznan, to attract a greater number of prospective international students. The workshop brought together representatives from international cooperation offices, welcome centres, and marketing departments of both public and private universities.

Poznan University of Technology in the Space League – We Have Joined ESA Phi-Lab Net

Poznan University of Technology has been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA), through a competitive process, to lead the prestigious ESA Phi-Lab Poland initiative as part of the ScaleUp programme.

The university is now one of eight European local administrators appointed by ESA to support the development of the European space sector.

Forum of Deans of Faculties of Architecture in Poland

On March 6, 2025, the Faculty of Architecture at Poznan University of Technology hosted a meeting of the Forum of Deans of Faculties of Architecture in Poland.
The event was attended by deans, vice-deans, discipline heads, and directors of academic units offering programs in Architecture and Architecture & Urban Planning across Poland. Since its founding in 2019, the Forum of Deans has met regularly to develop unified positions and support each other in both education and scientific research.

Poznan University of Technology and the Wielkopolska Regional Government Join Forces in Hydrogen Education

On March 6, 2025, Poznan University of Technology (PUT) and the Wielkopolska Regional Government signed a cooperation agreement focused on educational initiatives related to the hydrogen economy.
This partnership aims to promote knowledge about hydrogen technologies and renewable energy sources among secondary school students in the region.

Poznan University of Technology as a Leader in Accessibility – Project Launch

On March 3, an inaugural meeting was held to launch the university-wide project titled “Poznan University of Technology – Leader in Accessibility.”

The event provided an excellent opportunity for all individuals involved in the project—both from Poznan University of Technology and the external partner organization—to get to know one another and begin their collaboration.
