At the meeting, participants listened to a presentation about cuisine in Poland, Korea, Ecuador, Morocco and Kenya. Then began the tasting of dishes prepared by the participants of the meeting: students from Poland, Morocco, Turkey, India and Ecuador, as well as an employee of PP, coordinator of foreign students, who prepared their own baked bread and various home-made dishes. There was a division into vegan and meat dishes.

During the meeting, education systems in the home countries of foreign students were discussed. They also discussed the relations between students and professors, teaching styles and methods, equality in access to education, levels of education, good practices and challenges, etc.
Education systems in Malaysia, Rwanda, Poland, RD Congo were presented.

W związku z sytuacją epidemiologiczną wywołaną przez koronawirusa SARS-CoV-2, w trosce o zdrowie uczestników Targów Międzykulturowych i Konferencji pt. „International students in academic community - success stories and challenges”, prof. dr hab. inż. Teofil Jesionowski, Prorektor ds. edukacji ustawicznej, postanowił zmienić termin wydarzenia, które pierwotnie zaplanowano na 21 kwietnia 2020 r.
Zgodnie z tą decyzją, Targi Międzykulturowe i Konferencja odbędą się 13 października 2020 r.
