The period spent at a foreign university is recognized on the basis of a signed Learning Agreement - credited in the course of studies as equivalent to a semester (or 2 semesters) at the Poznan University of Technology.
- Each student may complete up to a total of 12 months (360 days) abroad on studies and / or traineeships within one study cycle.
- Each student interested in going abroad must meet the FORMAL CRITERIA for a scholarship abroad.
- Students qualified to Erasmus+ Program have to check required application documents at host University, deadlines for application, as well as prepare them by themselves.
- Students prepare also the Learning Agreement (LA) in consultation with the E+ faculty / institute coordinator. LA is prepared only in the Online Learning Agreement system.
Paper versions of the document are no longer accepted.
- Rules for calculating the length of the mobility and financing
Erasmus+ grant is paid out on a daily basis, which means that even small changes in the period of stay may affect the amount of the scholarship. The number of days and the amount of the scholarship can be checked using a calculator provided by the Erasmus+ National Agency.
The grant amount cannot be increased after the end of the mobility. If the confirmed period of stay is longer than that specified in the grant agreement, the additional days will be considered as the period of zero grant.
Eligibility criteria
A student qualified for an Erasmus program must meet the following criteria:
- To be currently a student of the Poznań University of Technology in first- or second-cycle studies or to be a student of doctoral studies.
- To be (at the time of departure to study) a student of at least the second year of first cycle studies.
- He cannot be on dean's leave during the scholarship.
Recruitment for Erasmus scholarship trips is organized once in each academic year, regardless of whether the student wishes to complete his / her trip in the winter or summer semester of the next academic year. In a given academic year, there is a qualification for mobility in the following year. Students qualify at the Faculty / Institute level. At each faculty, a person / persons designated by the dean coordinates work related to the Erasmus program. If you are in doubt as to who performs this function, please refer to the list of program coordinators available at www. For detailed information on participation in the Erasmus program, we kindly invite you to participate in the information meeting planned for the fall of the given academic year (November / December).
When selecting students for a foreign trip, the following will be taken into account:
- student's achievements to date (e.g. grade point average for studies / given semester),
- knowledge of a foreign language in the country in which the student wishes to pursue part of the studies or knowledge of English (in the case of universities conducting classes in this language),
- possible additional criteria specified by the department / institute.
We recommend giving students extra points for extra activity, e.g .:
- involvement in ESN (Erasmus Student Network) or other student organization,
- activity in scientific circles,
- volunteering.
Priority in qualifying for mobility for studies will be given to students who have not previously used this option to go to a foreign university under the Erasmus + programs. Similarly, priority in the recruitment for internships will be given to students who have not yet completed an internship abroad under the LLP Erasmus or Erasmus + programs.
Each student at one level of study is entitled to 12 months (360 days) of mobility. The so-called mobility capital includes all mobility (studies, internships), also from earlier departures in the "Lifelong learning" program - Erasmus, Erasmus Mundus, Erasmus + at a given degree.
In the case of graduate mobility, the mobility capital of the degree in which the participant leaves as a graduate is taken into account (e.g. graduate internships after engineering studies, we count all departures from engineering studies and add the period of graduate internships).
Any formal objections to the recruitment process should be reported in writing to the Dean or Vice-Dean of a given faculty.
