Chinese New Year at the Poznań University of Technology!

According to the Chinese calendar, 2023 is the Year of the Water Rabbit. It start on January 22.

On Tuesday, January 17, at the Poznan University of Technology, students and lecturers, who participate in Chinese language courses, joined the tradition of celebrating the Chinese New Year.

The Chinese New Year is celebrated according to the traditional lunisolar calendar and it’s one of the most important holidays in the China. The holiday is called Spring Festival and is celebrated every year by its inhabitants.

Start Cup Day – an Entrepreneurship Day at Poznań University of Technology

On 18.01.2023, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Poznań University of Technology (PP Lecture Center, room 4) will host Start Cup Day – an Entrepreneurship Day, combined with the announcement of the EUNICE Start Cup competition for the best start-up among students of universities affiliated within EUNICE European University.

During the event, in addition to announcing details of the competition, the idea of EUNICE European University will be introduced.

Poznan University of Technology will implement the RESCUU project.

The '"Resilience of Education: Sustainability and Cooperation for Ukrainian Universities" project, whose partner is Poznan University of Technology, received funding from the Swedish Institute and will be implemented in 2023-2024. The project is intended to contribute to the support of higher education institutions in Ukraine during the war. The coordinator of the project is Uppsala University, managing the Baltic University Programme.

PUT scientists on augmented reality

Augmented reality and remote participation aimed at improving the quality of life of people susceptible to social exclusion due to age, health or family situation - scientists from the Poznan University of Technology, together with universities from seven European countries, thanks to the XR Programs and Research Fund, will undertake research aimed at to verify how metaverse technologies will affect privacy, security, inclusion and the future of work in a changing society.
