Grand Prix for the Poznan University of Technology Choir Volantes Soni at the Croatian Choral Festival

The Poznan University of Technology Choir Volantes Soni participated in the international festival Chorus Inside Croatia from August 22–27, 2025, held in the picturesque towns of Rovinj (Croatia) and Portorož (Slovenia). The event brought together choirs from Poland, Italy, Romania, and Hungary, offering both rich musical experiences and unforgettable cultural impressions.

Academic Guard at Poznan University of Technology

Starting September 1, 2025, the Poznan University of Technology will establish the Academic Guard—a special unit responsible for ensuring the safety of the entire university community and protecting its infrastructure.

Why was the Academic Guard created?
It is a response to growing challenges and a changing environment. The aim is to make the PUT campus a safe and welcoming place for studying, working, and living.

Another project by the European University EUNICE

We are pleased to announce that Poznan University of Technology has once again received funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange for the development of the EUNICE consortium. The funds, amounting to PLN 1,497,478.71, come from European Union funds and were awarded under the NAWA programme ‘Support for European University Alliances’ (FERS.01.05-IP.08-0219/23, FERS Projects). This is the second edition of this programme.

Recruitment for ESA Spaceship Poland Internships Now Open! 

 

In July, Poznan University of Technology (PUT) entered the next phase of implementing the ESA Spaceship Poland initiative. Spaceship Poland is the newest member of the ESA Spaceship family — the fourth such initiative launched by the European Space Agency in Europe. It will be based at PUT and focus on key areas of space technology development: robotics, autonomous systems in space, and artificial intelligence applications. 

Poznan University of Technology and Stadler Begin Cooperation in Engineering Education

Poznan University of Technology (PUT) and Stadler have signed a partnership agreement providing for close cooperation in teaching, scientific research, and the development of specialised engineering staff. Joint activities will focus on supporting the specialisation in rail vehicles within the second-cycle (master’s) program in Mechanical Engineering and Vehicle Construction, conducted at the Faculty of Civil and Transport Engineering at PUT.
