Poznan University of Technology offers support for newly admitted international students.

  1. At the beginning of their studies, each newly admitted student can benefit from the support of older students through the Buddy Program. The Buddy Programme involves the assignment of a mentor - a PUT student - who will help you during the first weeks of your stay. Support includes assistance with registration in the university system, dealing with formalities, banking, transport and accommodation, as well as integrating into the local student community and exploring the city's attractions. For more information, please contact buddy@put.poznan.pl.
  2. Orientation Day is an information day for international students during which we cover key topics such as legalising your stay in Poland, study regulations, insurance and the availability of emergency assistance. We also present opportunities for partial study through the Erasmus+ program, language courses, and issues related to scholarships and their disbursement. Details and current presentations can be found here: link.
  3. Residence legalization support. International students at Poznan University of Technology can count on help in the process of legalising their stay in Poland, especially those from outside the European Union who are planning a longer stay based on a visa or residence card. We offer assistance with the necessary documents, application forms and individual consultations with experts. Workshops and trainings on residence procedures are regularly organised in cooperation with the Migrant Info Point. The consultations take place at the International Relations Office (Piotrowo 5, Room 101, Building A2). Advance registration is not required.
  4. Intercultural Café is an initiative of Poznan University of Technology for students who want to explore new cultures, make international connections and integrate in a friendly atmosphere. It offers meetings with an international group of students where participants can discuss various topics, exchange experiences and discover traditions from other countries through presentations, games, music and food tasting. Meetings take place in an informal atmosphere that promotes integration and fun. The Intercultural Café is the perfect opportunity to become part of the international community! The calendar of events is available in the International Relations Office (Room 101, Building A2).
