Poznan High School Graduate Fair 2024

On September 19-20 2024, the Poznan University of Technology, together with "Perspektywy," organized the 18th edition of the Poznan High School Graduate Fair.

Attendance, as always, was massive—thousands of young people filled the halls of our university. Dozens of buses were parked in the parking lots of the Poznań University of Technology. 

The 2025 high school graduates attended the fair, along with younger students, teachers, school counselors, and educational and career advisors. "Here, the Matura exam meets university studies." 

Green Technology for Sustainable Environment 2024 (GTSE24)

GTSE24 is the fourth edition of the Green Technologies for Sustainable Environment conference and the first to be held in Europe. The conference focuses on environmental protection, the development of green technologies, and sustainable development, including the circular economy. Aimed at the academic community, participants will present their latest research findings during the event. GTSE24 will take place from September 22-26, 2024, on the campus of Poznan University of Technology.

 

Michał Kotkowski at Paralympic Games

The XVII Paralympic Games in Paris have come to an end. 

A student of Poznan University of Technology from the Faculty of Management Engineering, Michał Kotkowski, was a participant in the Polish national team.

Michał achieved incredible success – for the second time in his career, he competed in the Games (previously in Tokyo in 2021), and once again reached the finals in the 400m and 200m races in the T37 category. 

Economic Forum 2024

The Economic Forum in Karpacz is the largest meeting platform in Central and Eastern Europe. It hosts discussions on security, prospects for economic development, contemporary challenges, and overcoming crises. The forum also showcases specific solutions and innovative ideas.


At the 33rd Economic Forum in 2024, experts from the Poznan University of Technology were sharing their knowledge and experise, discussing key issues related to innovations, sustainable development, and new technologies.

 

Airframe Structural Design

The next edition of the Airframe Structural Design course is now behind us.

The program is organized in cooperation with the Apollo Spirit company and the Interfaculty Educational and Scientific Centre for Dual Education at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".

Another success in the MINIATURA 8 NCN competition

The National Science Centre has published another ranking list for MINIATURA 8 applications submitted in May this year. In the competition, scientists with a doctoral degree could apply for funding for preliminary studies, pilot studies, research, research internships, research trips and consulting trips. Among the winners of the competition was Dr. Maria Ratajczak from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transport. The title of the activity is: "Analysis of the possibilities of using FTIR mapping to assess the compatibility of asphalts with SBS copolymer".

Another Success of Doctoral Students of the Faculty of Chemical Technology

We are very happy to announce that doctoral students of the Faculty of Chemical Technology have achieved yet another success in the international arena. Natalia Burlaga and Adam Grzywaczyk, in cooperation with Branislav Trudić (University of Belgrade), took 1st place in the Deep Tech Innovators – Pitch Final Contest organized by Universidade Católica Portuguesa (https://esb.ucp.pt/pt-pt/advanced-training/deep-tech-innovators-online-advanced-course).
