The Master’s program in Chemical Technology – Composites and Nanomaterials is a specialized course that spans three semesters, beginning every February. The first semester is designed to strengthen foundational knowledge in chemical technology, especially for international students or those whose bachelor’s degrees are in fields other than chemical technology. This semester ensures students meet the academic standards set by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland.
The core courses focus on:
Physical and inorganic chemistry
Engineering of materials and chemical reactors
Polymer technology
Nanomaterials and composites processing
Modeling and simulation
Practical laboratory sessions allow students to synthesize and thoroughly characterize composites, examining their physical, mechanical, and electrochemical properties. The program also covers topics like ecology, recycling, and advanced materials for energy generation and storage.
Students have the flexibility to choose elective courses in specialized areas such as biotechnology and medical applications.
Upon graduation, students earn the title of Master of Science in Chemical Technology. They are well-equipped for careers in research and development, particularly in the field of chemical technology, focusing on composites and nanomaterials. Graduates can pursue positions in industries that require expertise in advanced materials, including their synthesis, characterization, processing, and application, with a strong emphasis on environmental protection.
